The Digital Studio administers a number of public programs that engage diverse audiences and develop creative visions:

• First Sunday Family Days – the first Sunday of each month, 1-4pm, October through May


• First Thursdays ARTSwalk – the first Thursday of each month, 6-9pm, year-round


• Joshua Tree Photographic Excursions – annual photo pilgrimage to the desert for lectures, workshops, and creative discovery


• Artists in Residence – provides access to high-end production equipment and technical assistance


• MyGlobalVillage Summer HS Program – uses human rights documentaries to engage student interest in local / global issues


• Photo Contests – quarterly calls that offers us an opportunity to discover local photographic talent


• Media Production Courses – classes for adults and youth focusing on photography, video, and audio production


• Audio Podcasts – produced in conjunction with KCET / LA ‘s new media department features interviews with regional IE artists and writers
